Rate the following (1-5, five being the best!) 4.0
Food: 4.75
Service: 4.5. WOuld have been a five but I had to wait for a while
for drink refills. He knew the menu quite well and made
recommendations.
Atmosphere: 4.5. Great theming, comfortable chairs.
Okay for Children: YES. Busy, busy place. May find kids menu restrictive and not a lot of
choices.
Okay for Couples: YES. But its not quiet.
Be Sure to Try: I really enjoyed everything we had, although I was
prepared to hate it due to my general dislike of the RFC.
General tips: They seem to have a bit of a problem with crowd control
for check in. Lobby is way too small for the numbers of guests that
come through. Its raining today at Disney and there were way too
many people pushing and shoving to get out of the rain. I was 10
minutes late for my ADR (finishing the Nemo Musical) and I had to
wait 15 minutes for a table.
TheMouseForLess tips: Portions are good if you are hungry. I had soup
and salad and picked off the kids' plates for the stuff they did not
finish. They ate a whole lot though and I had only a bite of chicken
and a little bit of rice. Adults with normal or hearty appetites
would not be able to share their entree.
Extra Comments: Make an ADR. This place takes a lot of walk ups. I
was prepared to hate YnY as I really dislike the Rainforest. YnY is
more of an "upscale" chinese restaurant. Tables are well spaced,
service was very good. I wasn't thrilled with my table assignment as
we were not taken past the first room (which made observing the lobby
quite easy.)
They accept the DDP (one TS credit) but NO DDE card. I used my AP
for a 10% discount.
I'll go back. It was really good.
