"He is famous for Mickey and Minnie Mouse. He makes children laugh, and he makes children do stuff with him. Cause he wants to meet children and dance with them. He likes to do alot of stuff with them. He likes kids alot." (Emily, Age 4)

"He is famous for creating the childrens most loved characters, like Minnie and Mickey Mouse. He is also famous for creating Disneyland (and WDW), a fun and happy vacation place for all families." (Katie, Age 10)

"No, why are you asking me?"
Moms note: Guess I got some educatin' to do. (Shan, Age 7)

"He's a guy who invented an amusement park?" (Vincent, Age 6)

"Mama???" (Nicholas, Age 3)

"While watching TV over the weekend, a commercial with President & Mrs. Bush came on regarding Thanksgiving. I asked my daughter Melissa (who will be 5 in February) if she knew who that man was on TV. She answered "Walt Disney". (Jane Valenty)

"Walt created Mickey Mouse, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Pinocchio and Cinderella. He was the founder of Disney World. His brother was Roy Disney." (Ryan, Age 11)

My 8yo son says that "Walt Disney is a man and he's famous for ummmm I don't know what he's famous for. Oh, wait - Walt Disney was famous for making Micky Mouse." (Linda Cobb)

Pam's DD story about Walt Disney:
DD (6) was very quiet as we walked through the new Walt exhibit at MGM. She seemed to study the miniature versions of different areas of the parks. She looked at all the pictures, and listened to the interviews. She watched attentively all the TV clips and the movie at the end of the exhibit After exiting the exhibit I was curious about what a 6 year old would think about this attraction, so I asked her. She was quiet for a moment and then said, "Mom I never knew Walt Disney could have so many dreams." It was such a cute little comment, but I think it was exactly the sentiment the Imagineers that were behind that exhibit would want us all to walk away with.
